From Sh*t to Fit: Karen Ross’ Wellness Journey Episode 5

Summary

Karen Ross is a fitness instructor, personal trainer, aquafit instructor, specializing in 55+ fitness/wellness.

In her own words? I am what would be considered a little late to the fitness party in that I didn’t enter the industry until I was 51. Why do I choose to do what I do? My fitness/wellness career started out of necessity to make myself well. 9 years ago I was at the lowest point in my life and felt like I was already dead. A health crisis set me on the path to health and wellness, the right way, not the quick fix temporary way. The more I learn, the more I have to share. Knowledge is power. My mission, my passion, is to help others find their way to health and wellness by giving them the knowledge and power to take control of their own wellness path. Everyone deserves quality of life, for their entire life.

Why “Mildly Eccentric” & “Imminently Wise”? Episode 1

Summary

What the significance of the title of this podcast?

Living a badass life at any age got me thinking.

What does it take? I believe you have to think creatively and allow yourself to NOT conform!

I also believe that we never know everything we want to know, or even think we know! So imminently wise seemed appropriate since we have been around a few years, or decades, and have learned a lot but we are still on a journey towards knowledge and wisdom.

Feedback is always welcome and encouraged so please leave me an audio message at https://anchor.fm/april-mcginnis/message

Have an awesome badass day!
